Where can I watch Total Rugby? >>
SIX NATIONS
Highlights from the RBS Six Nations as Ireland hope to secure their first Grand Slam since 1948 by defeating Wales. Warren Gatland’s team can still win the Championship, however, if they beat the Irish by 13 points or more. We’ll have the build up and reaction as the tournament reaches its climax in Cardiff. There’s action too from England v Scotland at Twickenham and Italy v France in Rome.
GAVIN HASTINGS
As England face Scotland for the Calcutta Cup, we meet Gavin Hastings who won 61 caps for Scotland, 20 of them as captain. He was a member of the 1990 Grand Slam winning side and led the Lions on the tour to New Zealand in 1993 after playing in all three Tests on the 1989 tour to Australia.
NAOMI THOMAS AND WOMEN’S SIX NATIONS
We travel to Cardiff International Airport to join Naomi Thomas on duty for the Airport Fire and Rescue Service. Naomi combines her job as a firefighter with playing international rugby for Wales. The 27-year-old is hoping that Wales can secure the Triple Crown at the weekend by defeating Ireland.
ANDRE VENTER
Total Rugby met up with former South African flanker Andre Venter two years ago, just after he contracted a rare viral infection that attacked his spinal cord and left him paralysed from the waist down. Recently we paid him another visit to see how he's coping with his disease, but also to look back over his career with the Springboks.
THE BURDETTS
Last week we caught up with a family on the verge of entering the history books – the Burdetts; three generations of players from the same family who all currently play for Heathfield Rugby Club in Sussex.
