The International Rugby Board has announced a change to the
kick-off times of the IRB Junior World Championship 2010 at the
Club Atletico Estudiantes in Parana for Match Days 2, 3 and 4.
Matches scheduled for Wednesday 9, Sunday 13 and Thursday 17
will start at 13:00 and 15:00 local time, one hour earlier than
previously announced.
The matches scheduled for Match Day 5 on Monday, June 21 will
kick-off as planned at 12:00 and 14:15 local time.
"Due to a potential issue with failing light in the
second match on match days, and following consultation with all
stakeholders, we have taken the precautionary measure of bringing
the kick-off time forward in Parana to ensure there is no
disadvantage or safety risk to the participating teams, which is of
paramount importance," said Tournament Director Philippe
Bourdarias.
